A taste of Italy ... a life long dream!
Our love for baking Italian food, started at the young age of five, where many days were spent with our parents and grandparents in their kitchen, learning how to cook.
Born in the town of Ascoli Piceno, located in the Le Marche region of Italy, our childhoods were simple, but boy oh boy, were they filled with the best food!
Our meals were made using home grown veggies, our milk was sourced from our cows and sheeps, eggs from our own chooks, and our bread was made from scratch ... nothing processed here!
Fast forward a few years, we became childhood sweethearts at the age of 16, and then studied cooking together. We then travelled Europe working in various patisserie's and restaurants. In 2018, we embarekd on a mini holiday to Australia to visit family, and fell in love instantly & decided to stay a little longer.

We love what we do
We love Australia and the beautiful cuisines it offers. But we noticed something was missing...the flavours of home-made food and the smell of the freshly baked biscuits that we used to make with nonna.
And with that ... our business - A taste of Italy by Stefania & Diego, started.
We specialise in producing over 40 different biscuits and cakes, that use traditional recipes taught to us, by our parents and grandparents. We believe in using quality ingredients, nothing artificial and all of our products are hand made ... with love!
